NONE more so than to see that the 2 top priced rams of R40000 and R38500 were direct descendents of DTC animals. 

RAM GW 5112

GW 5112 is the son of DTC 1162 - whose sire DTC 9326 is the son of the SA CHAMP EWE [TWICE] DTC 5084 and the dam is DTC 6151 - daughter of DTC 4191 [A special ewe that was also the dam of DTC 6017 - JAFTA!!]

GW 5112 - dam is ER110015 - who is 75% DTC blood represented by DTC 5093 [SIRE OF SA champ GE 7011] and DTC 8235 ON THE SIRE SIDE - AND ON THE DAM SIDE BY DTC 9321.

RAM GE 4125

GE 4125 - is a full DTC blood ram. There is DTC 9122- SA CHAMP ram on the dam side but -  the sire and dam of 4125 are daughters of  the ram DTC 8260 - whose sire is DTC 7002 [ WELL KNOWN RAM] AND AGAIN the ewe DTC 6151 [ SEE ABOVE]

One of GERRIT'S ewes also went for a good price of R20000. THIS EWE IS ALSO A FULL DTC GENETIC EWE. GE 150077 - sire is a son of DTC 0204 [sire of DTC 3011] AND THE DAM IS AN INBRED DAUGHTER OF DTC 0204 - sire DTC 3025 and the dam DTC 03320 are progeny of his.
