BREEDING ANIMALS has always got its challenges, and one of them is - when will another animal be bred that one can say WOW!

Well i can truly say that there are 2 animals that the Denvor Stud  can be very proud of, and that is DTC 9210 AND DTC 9009.

They are both unusually long animals, but have all the other attrbutes that go with quality mutton sheep characteristics, ie - backside, chests, good legs and straight top lines.

A LONG RAM with everything, and with an exceptional backside for its length.

This is as far as i am concerned this is one of the best allround rams that the DENVOR STUD has bred.

WE have already collected over 300 dosis of semen, such is the value we have put on to this ram, and his progeny show the same characteristics as him.

Truly a magnificent specimen.

He will be put on the  Vrystaatse Genetiese Groep Veiling on 10 July, in Kroonstad, and will not be given away.

DTC 9009  [Ou Lange]

DTC 9009 - SURELY THE LONGEST IDF RAM EVER!! this ram measures 165cm from nose to anus, and is even longer than the past recorded ram - long john BB 8118, from yesyer year [less than 160]

He has the same dam as DTC 8005, [namely DTC 5011]who has bred some outstanding young animals in the DENVOR STUD, with the result that we have used him sparingly in the Stud, BUT we have enough semen to bring him back into the herd later.

HE WILL ALSO BE PUT ONTO THE VRYSTAATSE GENETIESE VEILING IN KROONSTAD ON 10 JUNE.
